A myth has successfully been created in the minds of ordinary people that politics is only for the rich and not for honest decent people like most of us. Of course, this is not true and we can only prove it wrong with the active help, support and participation from each one of us.

* An audited Statement of Accounts of Election Expenses would be made publicly available. Additionally, under Section 77 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951, and Election Commission Rules, a report on daily campaign expenses would be filed with the Election Commission of India.
* Campaign Contribution is not tax deductable under Section 80G of the Indian Income Tax Act.
