'The significance of man is not in what he attains, but rather in what he longs to attain'. Khalil Gibran wrote these words not knowing how true their potential will be when applied to likes of personalities such as Mr. Sen.

There have been times when even a hard core optimist like myself loses faith . India with its supremely unique ways of working and dubious definitions of honesty, rewards has made many into masked faced pretentious citizens . Through these tribulations and faithless wanderings, one is lucky when one meets raw undeterred beliefs in people like Mr. Sen who inspite of having known the system chose to return to its roots to set the stage right for future generations to look-up to and thus follow. All HE ASKS FOR IS " Give me an ear, and I will give you a voice. "

What Mr.Sen strives to achieve is perhaps a cherished desire of most of the steadfast upright honest citizens of this country. However, the grit needed to plough through a shabby and unyielding system such as our political eviron needs a lot more than just dreams and drawing room chats. Mr. Sen who through his strong sense of righteousness , armoured with the wide based knowledge of law comes across as a leader who could guide the society towards a more meaningful and constructive existence. How the core foundation of human existence which should ideally be enmeshed in dignity and pride is ripped to shreds at every level, troubles him - such occurrences could be from the most trivial personal reasons to as enormous as complete break-down of the law and order.. I believe that the issues that he feels at heart are simple and the enthusiasm with which he wishes to deal with them is spontaneous and infectious. His strength lies in the belief "We can do it" . He comes across as a warrior who likes to fight his wars fair and square, and then..let the truth prevail . He fought on my behalf in a case against Citi-bank, stood his ground , where many a prominent lawyers of the city had given up , and then went on to win the case with aplomb . His desire to draw attention of our political and legal system towards human suffering is very intense . This can only be understood by those for whom he has fought through the legal system to get to the bottom of truth and get justice . His restlessness probably stems from witnessing the crawling pace at which the things move , signifying epitome of a decaying society. Precious time that gets lost in innocuous details leaves doers like himself wondering the worthiness of such a system ! His motto - Faith, Honesty and Perseverance. Above all - " Keep your mind open to change all the time. It is only by examining and reexamining your opinions and ideas that you can progress" All the best to him in future.

I have known Mr. AMITABHA SEN for the past few years. I always found him involved in cases that supported honesty, integrity and hard work rather than those that involved higher monetary returns. From my interaction with him I realized that here was a man who wanted to be an active member of a workforce that will go all out to build a society, where all persons will be treated equally irrespective of their faith, belief, caste, color or creed and where everybody would have access to three square meals a day. I found him committed to revive the society while conserving the natural wealth and legacy of our rich and diverse country. I feel that Mr Sen is just the right person that our country needs at the moment to fulfill the dreams of both masses and classes through educated governance with a vision. I wish him long healthy life.

"The way I meet Dr. Sen, is a near unbelievable, I had been struggling in the consumer court for many years and was on the verge of giving up any hope to ever get justice, as the legal adviser I had did not put his whole sole behind my case.

At this point I came across a newspaper article about dr. Sen having won a similar case as mine , not thinking twice I wrote to the journalist ,with the request for Dr.Sen's contact number and within 3 hours of reading the article I found myself in front of a very distinguished gentleman and from thereon not only did I with his help and guidance win the case , but also found a selfless human being , who is free of creed , and striving for a India free of all corruption .

The proof for this is that Dr. Sen has been selflessly handling my case and to this day has never requested any payments for his services, where in India will you find such human being.

Dr. Sen's vision of India, is a country free of corruption on all levels, especially of the big honchos whogetting away with wrong doings, simply the can pay their way out. A country where everyone is educated and can earn his living, on many occasions when we were talking about his aim and goals in life, i could see and feel the fire in him , to be able and instrumental in ensuring education to all, which at this time he is already doing even if on a small level , for Dr. Sen education is not only the basic tool for prosperous India, but it should be the birth right for each Citizen of India. Just a few words about myself, I'm a German, living for the last 20years in India and having consulting Agency taking care of an in Europe well known designer's export orders from India. I'm wishing Dr. Sen that he may succeed to bring to live his visions and dreams for India.

I have known Dr. AMITABHA SEN for the last 7 years. He is a veteran advocate who listens carefully, analysis, and gives results that are better than expected. He is an expert in his field and has never disappointed me.

Dr Amitabha Sen is a person who is characterized by integrity, fairness, straight/forwardness in conduct, truthful, trustworthy, sincere, and free from fraud, guile or duplicity.

Dr Amitabha Sen is a person having a clear vision and has the determination to achieve the same in the most planned phase. He is extremely focused and feels very strongly for a corruption free India, free education for younger children, child labor, conservation of our natural environment etc.

He believes in moving with the time and has an open-mindedness and willingness to change. And it's change which gives him the opportunity to grow..
I totally agree with the "Vision" stated by Dr Amitabha Sen.
I too have hope and dreams for a better India and I would like to see the following accomplished:
1) Ensure dignity, Self-Respect and Pride for each individual, irrespective of age, gender, region or religion.
2) Drinking Water, Food, Cloth, Shelter and education for all.
3) World Class infrastructure: roads, airports and railways.
4) Every year there is a loss of billions of rupees due to flood; only solution is "Unification" of all rivers.
5) Only one caste (Brotherhood) and one religion (Humanity), across the length and breadth of the country.
6) No "reservation", no subsidiary, no "special privilege" and no discount, on the basis of Region, Religion, Community, Profession and Community.
The evils that we see in India today like corruption, public sector inefficiency, religious tensions, lack of development, poverty, illiteracy, poor infrastructure, and shortages are caused by corrupt leaderships that place their interests over the interests of the Nation. Corruption is the root causes of India's backwardness. The damage caused by corruption on the country's economy and progress is unimaginable.

I know for sure that Dr Amitabha Sen will bring in that change that we are looking for and I would like to end by what Subhas Chandra Bose had said;

Dreams for a Nation.

"One individual may die for an idea; But that idea will, after his death, incarnate itself in thousand lives. That is how the wheel of evolution moves on and the idea and dreams of one nation are bequeathed to the next."

Dr. Sen is a legal luminary, with a brilliant humanitarian touch in his work. I have rarely come across such a selfless legal professional of his quality and stature. His support tot eh poorest of the poor Indian labourers is invaluable. He handled Jasola Labour Disaster with utmost patience, outstanding precision in presenting plight of the survivors and impressed the Indian legal community in a big way. We need many such faces to change the complexion of our justice delivery system. We need such friends of community to achieve the principles of a just and equitable society.
